How do I know if SSRS is installed or not?
Connect to a server that has Microsoft SQL Server installed.Locate the “Report Server Manager” configurations in the start menu.If the “Report Server Configuration Manager” is available, this means that the exact functionality of Reporting Services is already installed.
For more information about other Reporting Services errors and problems, see Troubleshooting ssrs
Read the main release notes.online if the issue you are experiencing is clearly described in the release notes.
Check Configuration Logs
Configuration errors are logged in log files located in the FilesMicrosoft c:Program SQL ServernnnSetup BootstrapLog folder. Each time you run the setup program, a subfolder is created. The subfolder recognizes the calendar and startup time configuration. For instructions on viewing configuration signature files, see SQL in “Viewing and Reading Server Configuration Log Files”.

Preliminary Check Conditions
The configuration automatically checks for prerequisites. However, if you usually troubleshoot configuration issues, it’s very helpful to know what requirements the configuration actually checks for.
Account requirements to run the configuration Includes membership in the local Administrators group. The installer must have permission to use it to add files and registry settings, create traffic groups, set security options, and set permissions. If you are installing a standard system, the installer must be allowed to retrieve the report server database from a particular SQL Server instance that is only installed by one person.
The operating system must support HTTP.SYS 1.1.
The HTTP service must beenabled and supported.
The Distributed Transaction Coordinator (DTC) must be running if you are also building the SQL Agent Service server.
Authz.dll should normally be located in the System32 folder.
The installer no longer searches the Internet for Information Services (IIS) or ASP.NET. Reporting Services means services MDAC 2.0 and Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0; Runs the installer if they are not currently installed. Troubleshooting
